Our mission is to protect those who want to get into the industry from scam artists and show current models how to increase personal success, through the knowledge of business, etiquette, and style.

Fashion Model Daily opens up the modeling community and allows us to gather the knowledge and experience from models, agents, and clients around the globe.

 

The Founder

 

Amber Ritchie, born in West Sussex, England graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design with BA Honors in Fashion Promotion. After college, she interned at Profile Model Agency and worked first hand with buyers at the Hugo Boss showroom in London.

In 1999 she relocated to the US and was drafted in as a model agent for Stars Management in San Francisco. During her career of eighteen years, Amber developed the runway division; providing models to clients along the entire west coast and Hawaii - which granted her the title Director of Runway. She also made a guest appearance on E!'s,  "Scouted" as a runway trainer.

Amber created business etiquette workshops for Stars Management's new faces in 2010. It was then that she discovered a need for a resource that provides all models with advice directly from industry professionals, to help them achieve successful careers. While agents are dedicated to training their models, there is never enough time to teach every little nuance of the industry.

In 2017 Amber withdrew from her agent life in order to establish Fashion Model Daily. She now interviews agents, clients, and models for their knowledge and experience. Combining this information, along with her own, Amber has built a platform for profound conversation and guidance within the modeling community.
